Taichi improves cognitive function

Australian research has confirmed that tai chi improves brain functions, including global cognitive function, memory and attention, and several physical and psychological outcomes.

Taichi, which incorporates slow, intentional physical movements with meditation, has gained popularity as a treatment for many health conditions.

Previous studies indicate that practicing tai chi can boost cognitive functionality and physical health indicators in individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). This makes taichi a potentially effective exercise regimen to delay the onset of MCI progressing to dementia.

Tai Chi is suggested as an intervention to delay deterioration and improve the quality of life in people with an increased risk of cognitive decline.
