students feedback
Physical: I’m noticing a lot of the stiffness I have/carry in my body and am stretching more. Mental: I’m noticing that i feel better afterwards/less stressed. Can begin class feeling busy and slow down during it. Am also thinking my ability cognitive/motor skills are slowly improving (what is my left/right etc).

Since doing these classes, my flexibility has increased and I am also more aware of the importance of a routine of regular stretching especially if I am using the computer a lot.

If I regularly attend Lily's lessons and practice Taichi I notice significant improvement in mobility. I suffer from arthritis (including severe knee osteoarthritis) and quickly lose function in my knees and hands. Attending Lily's lessons has allowed me to greatly improve my mobility and ability to do everyday activities. I have a job that is often very stressful. I notice a huge reduction in stress and anxiety after attending Lily's lessons. I feel much calmer and happier after a Taichi session. After a break from lessons due to illness I noticed that my balance had declined. Just a few weeks after starting lessons again my balance has improved significantly. I'm very happy about this, as I worry about the consequences of having a fall.

It helps me be calmer and less anxious, and to learn to be more focused and in the moment. It also helps me get stronger. I started doing it 6 months ago and I can see a lot of physical and mental benefits.

Thank you for the wonderful classes Lily! Tough classes but I enjoy them immensely. Your teaching style is so great-- it makes it much more interesting to learn when we are given such a thorough understanding of how to move correctly and why it is important. Yes, I feel lighter and stronger in the body and clearer in the mind.

Taichi and wushu have helped with my breathing. I wouldn't have started back so quickly after hurting my ankle without your advice so thanks. I also enjoy doing taichi and wushu three times a week.

The Wulong classes have improved my physical and mental health. My posture is much improved although I am still working to decrease my "forward head posture"; my back pain and generalised arthritis pain are much better.
